I saw in the help for live.grid that there is a color for frozen cells, but i can't seem to figure out what it is or does. The reference tells me that i can send a "freeze step-index [int]" message, but i didnt succeed in getting anything to happen.

Just played with buffer shuffler 2.0 today and it had a freeze parameter that freezed the incoming audio.

Yes, i think it has something to do with the chuckle~ object, that one can freeze audio and the live.step help says you can use those two objects together (i assume buffershuffler uses chuckle~). However i just use live.step to be able to select some steps, and the manual lacks any explanation about what freezing does for live.step.
