i just installed the Max demo on my windows laptop and i've got a little problem.

i browse the forum and did'nt find any answer to this :

the Max midi port ("to maxmsp 1" & 2 and "from maxmsp 1" & 2) are not present in the Max midi setup.

is there something to do to make them appear?

Those are CoreMIDI virtual ports, available on Mac OS X, which allows apps to create their own driverless virtual ports on the fly.

On Windows, where MIDI ports may only be created by a driver(?), I think you need to use a 3rd-party driver like Rewire, MIDIYoke or similar to route MIDI to/from Max.
