TouchOSC Clip / Scene launcher

I saw rtek asking about this a few months back - has anyone made a clip / scene launcher for TouchOSC that displays clip/scene names?

I'm hoping to find a way to use my old Android phone as an additional controller rather than having to buy another idevice

Problem with touchOSC for Android at the moment is you can't make custom scripts. I don't think there is a clip grid launcher by default. You'll need 'live control' which extends touchOSC to enable a nice clip launcher but again it's all ios only I think.

I've given up trying to use my old android phone. There is another called 'control' but I found it real hard to make a UI. I think I'd just get an old ipod and then you can use touchOSC, touch-able, griid, Lemur so many more options.

Thanks, yeah its too bad there's so little support for Android in controller apps! Its the superior platform in so many ways - this ipad has loads of great apps but as a general purpose computer its a joke, my HTC phone is way more useful.

I agree, I'm having to jail break my ipad to get it do exactly what I need on stage. The touch OSC developer touches on some of the issues he faces with android development here:

Oh well, fingers crossed for the future. I'm hoping it's inevitable that Android will catch up and surpass idevices for music, just cos the user base is so much bigger. It's like about 1997 in the PC vs. Mac days.
