trouble installing Maxuino

    Hi there.
I've recently purchased an Arduino to experiment with building physical interfaces for some of my Max patches.
After some searching, I quickly found my way to the Maxuino project. However, due to some of the sketchy documentation and a lack of e-mail address on their website, I haven't been able to install this properly, nor ask the developer directly for help.
The documentation is located @ http://www.maxuino.org/getting-started
I'm running the latest Max 6.1.3 for Mac. I'm getting tripped up fairly early:
    - Add the entire Maxuino folder and the OSC-route object to your Max filepath.
Does this mean I simply drop the unzipped "Maxuino" folder into the "Max 6.1" sub-folder in my Applications folder, or do I have to drop all the individual files into different parts of the Max 6.1 folder. When I try to open the patch or the help patch, it shoots errors at me saying certain things are missing.
Where am I meant to put the OSC-route object?
If anybody is familiar with using Maxuino, any pointers would be greatly appreciated. I feel like I'm simply misunderstanding the installation steps, it's probably obvious to most others.

you could put everything in the patches folder, or add the maxuino folder manually from max to the searchpath (in Max: Options->File Preferences), or you could put the maxuino folder in the packages folder and rename some folders (see screenshot)...
