Umenu interrupting Jitter window output

Leo Mayberry's icon

I've seen a couple of references to this problem, but no solutions. What I'm experiencing is that clicking on a umenu causes OpenGL output in a window to go completely black for a frame or two. Sure, I can get it to work by using @noaccel with the window... but not using graphics acceleration is not an option.
Has anybody had this problem and found a solution?
I'm on Windows 7, latest Max/Jitter build.

My workaround is that "scrolling" mode in umenu doesn't cause the problem. It is a lot more difficult to navigate with scrolling mode.

It appears I was one version behind, and that this bug has been fixed.

Hmm, version update seems to have fixed the menu/window interruption problem, but now "native text" rendering comes out garbled. I find the native text to be more readable at small sizes, so it would be nice to get that back eventually.
