Undo File...

    Hi All,
I appreciate the only way to not write to the undo file is to use live.remotes however my patch has hundreds of Live GUI elements that on startup are set to stored only and recall their saved setting, this writes to the undo file and on 32 bit can cause a crash...
Are there any techniques for avoiding this on start up that anyone has figured out?
    Cheers D

If I reload a set with many 'stored only' Live GUI elements, it doesn't write anything to the undo file (and no dirty flag). So there is probably something else going on with your set - maybe related to preset management?

Good pointer, i'll have to check that, i think i'm making the mistake in having a lot of objects connected to a singular Live.thisdevice with a trigger object to order the bangs, and then send them all an outputvalue message to initialise....
Must rethink my strategy i think....
