Hi, I have some RPis running RNBO inside some sculptures and they (the Pis) haven't been updated for a while. I was going to switch out the soundscape anyway,  and figured while I'm SSH-ing in I might as well update everything. BUT...there is no internet access on-site. I can establish a wifi LAN connection to the Pis from my laptop to SSH but in order to update packages do I need internet (WAN) connection?

yeah, you need to be able to access the internet to install packages from the various apt repositories that we use.

Okay thanks. Wasn’t sure whether I could somehow download the packages in advance and then push them to the pis via LAN but yeah I guess that wouldn’t work
