USB steering wheel--how to interpret?

We have obtained a steering wheel game controller called a Little Tikes 3D Cruiser, manufactured by KB Games. Besides the wheel it has a number of buttons and levers. It has a USB 1.0 cable on it. It comes with software that only runs in the Mac Classic environment.
Does anyone know how we might be able to identify the USB data that it is generating, and somehow bring it into a different program, like Max, or OSCulator, MIDI Pipe?
This would make a wonderful music controller, but only if we can somehow figure out what it's doing.
Thanks,
Paul

Hey, Jesse, thank you....I didn't know about that object at all. How cool is that? When I get into my lab tomorrow, I'll see if the controller shows up on the menu.

Yep, works like a charm. Thanks again!
