New to using Max to trigger videos so looking for some advice. I have a performance coming up where I need to trigger video cues (with audio) which start playing immediately in order to synchronise exactly with a choir / conductor who are NOT performing to click. I usually use QLab for this kind of thing but cues in quick succession were triggering with a slight delay, which is of course problematic for synchronising with the choir.

My first thought was to have 1 long video file playing and have Max jump to different frames in the video when cued. You can see my first attempt in the attached patch. I'm using a counter + sel so that pressing space bar sends bangs to specific frame numbers > frame $1 > jit.movie ... it seems to work for going to the first frame (172) but then when I trigger the next cue which should go to frame 225, it just plays 172 again. Any advice? I'm probably missing something very simple.

Also generally wondering if there is a better solution than the way I'm currently going about triggering the cues.
