Using max in a browser?
'Hello World'

Can you use max/msp/jitter in a browser, say firefox? for instance, i could create a generative environment that can be embedded into HTML or Flash or something?
Had a search before posting, got a jargon filled geek post or two...
So, any pointers appreciated.

take a look at processing.org.
not quite max, more like java. There's some beautiful stuff done with it.
search "LILY", a graphic java app.
Cheers guys,
Cool, I'm aware of Lily and Processing. I'm trying to insatll Lily but i have no idea how to get started with it.
If Max 5 is 'max for the next 20 years' shouldn't it have some web functions? Will this be a feature in 5?
That's Java_script_, and it's at www.lilyapp.org
As for the comment below on Flash not being big for audio, you might want
to have a look at http://lab.andre-michelle.com and
http://tinyurl.com/ypuu54 , though I guess you're looking at pretty hardcore
geek here ;-)
Cheers

Interesting discussion from a few months back:
Note the bullet point: "robust html rendering engine in patchers (with patcher interaction via html JS)"
If you want to control your Max patches from a browser, that is already possible:

Thanks for the replies people, I think processing is the direction I will head down for the moment.

p.s. i still don't get max
