Using small usb external monitor for custom interface...
I am eying this small USB external monitor...http://www.mimomonitors.com/
I was wondering if anyone had experience with this monitor
(or external monitors in general) and how it behaves in jitter.
Does jitter allow you to specify separate monitors to render
things to?

I don't think so, it's purely where the window/pwindow is on the desktop real estate. (I could be wrong, and there may be something in jit.displays which addresses this.) So the extra monitor would simply add some more desktop pixels off to the right or left where you could put a patch or jit.window to render into. Since it's a separate monitor according to the OS, you could have the jit.window there (taking up part of the screen) and when you say fullscreen 1 it will fill up just that monitor, the same way it does on a standard dual monitor setup.
I like those monitors, just one cable, USB powered, portrait or landscape---very cool. Plus no need for additional graphics cards. I wonder how many a comp could support? As many as your USB 2.0 ports? This is great for adding real estate without an internal upgrade. And for laptops this would definitely be a handy accessory without being a pain to lug around.
Oh, and the Star Trek interface pics in their examples made my day.
