I released the VIZZable suite of Max for Live VJ patches earlier this year. More recently Fabrizio Poce has released his V-Module video plugins and by a lucky coincidence both video suites are interoperable.

I've spoken to Fabrizio and we'd like to raise the idea of merging these projects and building a community around developing a big, open, suite of stable and powerful video tools for live.

If we can get more people involved we may look at hosting the project somewhere else (google code, github or whatnot)

Chime in if you have any thoughts and please direct anyone you think might be interested in being involved in this project to this thread!

We really need to have people open for testing things out! Getting things stable is a matter of testing multiple setups. So be welcome to join this community and let's see if we can make these tools better and more stable.

VizzAble patches/files/plugins won't open with my new trial version of ableton. I reeeally want to see if I am able to make music out of video clips( with their subsequent audio) on ableton with my launchpad, i've been trying sooo ahrd for dayys and nothing will open! why??

Sorry, I don't speak and understand english very well so..... Is it possible to use V-Module and VIZZable to control sound in LIVE from a kinect or other camera please ???

I'm working on getting these awesome devices ready for the Push, organizing folders etc..., I might even try to scale some of the input parameters for the rotaries. I'm using multi map right now to route midi parameters, any advice on where to find LOM/Push specific stuff would be appreciated.
