Very Nervous System for Max5

blue's icon

Hi all,
This is my very first post with the cycling 74 community so please go easy on me!
I am currently looking into differing tracking/sensing technologies as part of an installation for my Final Year Project in University...

I have downloaded the softVNS externals for Max5 and I have been scanning the web for some info on how to implement the library and get some basic movement mapped to some simple sounds.

Thus far I have found it difficult to get much on VNS in terms of tutorials, hands-on know-how etc.

So if there is anyone out there who could spare a few minutes to share any knowledge on the subject or point me in the right direction I would be Very grateful!
Thanks!

there's a whole slew of patches someone put on the wiki, related to camera tracking:

i imagine several of them will make use of the cv.jit library.

also, next time you make a post, you should title it something that describes the content of your post, eg "camera tracking advice" or something similar.

there's the soft vns yahoo group for any vns-specific queries:

Here I thought we'd be talking markov chains and neural stuff again.

"very nervous system" is a pretty good description for a post about the very nervous system.
