Video in multi-channel

Hello,

I would like to send on two screens two different video signals synchronized on sounds using a Max patch.
I think I need such a "multi-channel" video card, right ? :) But I can't find something suited : I need a hard box, not a card, something I can plug on a computer anywhere, without needing to open the computer box.

My questions are :
- do you such a video device compatible with Max ?
- in my patch, I will manage the two video channels independently without any problem ? something like if it was an audio card with multi-channels ?

Thanks, and have a nice day.

Matrox makes several "2Go" boxes that are capable of breaking up a single video output into multiple displays (2-3). These are used by a lot of people and are pretty well-tested and known to the community. That's my recommendation

Hello,

Thanks for your reply, I will check.

I'm just wondering if "one video signal broken into severa displayl" is what I need : I want to produec two different signals each displayed on one screen, not one signal replicated on two screens.

Bye

Triplehead2go / Dualhead2go is what you need, don't worry. Hundreds if not thousands of AV-artists went before you ;)
