videoplane & alpha (very urgent...)

Dear mailing list,

i don't post very often but today it's for an emergency

is it possible to make transparent a part of a videoplane ?
i want to have an output that looks like the attached image ; which
should also be the mask i would use (which match the screens shape)

I planed to do it with 3 videoplanes with masks but the mask show or
hide parts of the video but i still have the rectangular shape (which
hide part of the video 3)
(doing it with matrix is very slow)

i'm not really into opengl things and i think it should be a solution
but i can't figure out how....

if someone has an idea it'll be very welcome

thanks

yoann

I'm pretty sure you can use the co.alphablend.jxs shader in jit.gl.slab. I
was going to say to use other shapes to cover the videoplanes, but I'm
thinking that might not work. If you want to do that, you should just make
it all automatic 0 and control the banging order.

i don't know exactly what you are trying to achieve (your image attachment never made it to the forum), but i found two patches which were recently posted on the forum, which might help you out.

patch 1
