Virtual Reality with Android and Kinect ---- sharing

If you'd like to catch on the virtual reality hype without investing in some expensive devices, you might take this as a starting point.

You can use (almost) any Android phone and a simple cardboard headset to experience VR with Max. The Max patch is reactive to head and hand movements, using both the kinect data and the head tracking data of the Android phone. With screen-sharing of the Jitter window on the Android phone, you get quite nice results - good enough to make your brain think you're in a weird world. It is PC only, but I think it should also work for Mac, if it gets adapted to the Synapse interface.

this is amazing, thank you so much for sharing - though one doesnt need to follow any hypes to use some experiential expansions :)
