i just learned how to control a vst plugin and made a patch for those who are interested in. I takes as an example a FM8 synth. You can adapt to any vst. It is a basic patch, cause i am a newcomer to maxmsp.

I hope it will be useful for someone, as it has been for me to browse in the forum and learn with all the answers you gave me.

this patch can be used as a patcher in other one, with inlets and outlets to make an easy interaction.

BTW, I know this is an old thread, but did you ever managed to use FM8 as a processor (i. e. input sound from Max and use its sound in the matrix)?
