It seems there is some weirdness going on when hosting AU and VST instruments through the vst~ object. I'm trying to have multiple outputs from a drum machine AU which has 16 outs. All i get from the other outs is a brief click when connecting the wires and then silence.

I've tried with other VST and AU plugins and it's the same result. Even the stock AUsampler only shows 1-2 outs when loaded and the vst~ has 16 outs.

Is anybody able to get multi channel output from VST or AU instruments in MAX 6?
