I've just started experimenting with MSP a bit, and was wondering if there's any way to change waveform~'s move mode so that it zooms in when you move down and out when you move up (e.g. invert the y-axis on the mouse) so that it matches Ableton's clip view method for zooming.

If not, would I be able to request this as a feature?

not that i know of. i doubt it'll ever be a feature of waveform~ either. you'll have to roll your own, i'd start by looking at [mousestate], particularly "button down" and "mouse delta vertical" outputs.

waveform~ lets you zoom, look at the vzoom message and set the display start and end values. Needs some patching and calculation most likely. Depends on what you want...
