Hi everybody,

I want to used a webcam from the web as a video input on my patch. Some of them are from flash player, or from quicktime player as a .asx file (see attached). How can i do it? Jitter is it the right software?

Thanks!

If you can't connect directly to the video (and I for one don't know how), you can always use jit.desktop to grab it, though you'd need it visible while you're grabbing and it probably wouldn't be as optimal (frame-rate wise) as a direct connection. If you're not that concerned about the frame-rate I'd suggest jit.desktop, as you can always stick the original video off in the corner somewhere (or on a second monitor) and then play with the jit.desktop output in your main patch.

ok, it seems to be the fastest way. And i'm know really concerned about the frame rate for this case, so it's perfect.

Thanks for your time,
