sorry everybody, I just used Max/MSP 2 weeks ago, now, I want to buy MAX/MSP software. However, when I search on the website, I saw tow prices for MAX/MSP :
1. Complete MAX 5 bundle : $699
2. Max 5 bundle : $ 495
My application use Arduino board sent analog and digital signal to Max/Msp, then, using Max/Msp to make the sound.
please, suggesting for me

The more expensive option includes Jitter for video and 3D processing (although you can use it for data and audio processing too). See the link below for more information. If you're more interested in the sound creation and want to save some pennies then perhaps go for the Max/MSP only bundle, you can always add Jitter at a later date (although this way works out to be more expensive).

thank you for your replay, however, what is the best choice between complete MAX5 bundle and MAX5 bundle.

That depends on if you need Jitter or not!

Simple view of things:

Max = data processing (you nedd to get arduino data)

MSP = Audio procesing (you need to make sounds of it)

Jitter = Video/3d/some audio processing (depends on what you want to do. if you are not using the data to create graphics or controling video, you don't need it.)

Are you using any [jit.] object in you patch, assuming that you are using demo version of Max/MSP/Jitter? (excluding [jitcellblock])

If you love Max and the patch you are creating is only the first one in many years to come, then you can get jitter too!

note: this is only my opinion.
