Where has Soundflowerbed gone?
I just installed Snow Leopard and then Soundflower 1.5.1 - which claims to include Soundflowerbed. Soundflower is clearly loaded - I don't seem to see Soundflowerbed anywhere. Am I missing something somewhere?
Thanx,
Al
^ I just did the same thing, I installed Soundflower and at first I couldn't find Soundflowerbed. Then, in my Apps folder I found a folder for SoundFlower, in that is the Soundflowerbed app. To run it I had to go to my user account and set it as a start up item. I restarted and the flower is up in the Menu bar at the right so I can access the program.
Thanks for that - Soundflower works now
Just an update: if you go to your apps folder and can't access Soundflower directory, just open terminal an type:
sudo chown YOUR_USER_NAME /Applications/Soundflower
Make sure your user has admin privilege.
Yes, that SUDO works fine, once I realized that (bad font here I think) there was a space between my username and /Applications/Soundflower. 30 year UNIX geek, should have known better. HEHE...
for clarity:
sudo chown YOUR_USER_NAME /Applications/Soundflower
Can someone fix the installer so it doesn't leave the permissions owned by root and set as 700?
I have installed and uninstalled countless times and redownloaded 4 times v 1.6.6b that SAYS it includes Soundflowerbed, yet when I install and reboot, there IS NOT a file Soundflowerbed in a foler anywhere on my imac running osx 10.8.2.
I know this thread is old but I must be blind!
help please
