Where is the Max 6 Preferences Folder?
I'm trying to locate the Max 6 Preferences Folder on Mac 10.5.8. I've searched Library/Preferences, but all I find there are my Max 5 and Max 4.6 pref folders. I've also done a spotlight search with no results, according to this info from "The Preferences Window" in Max Help:
"On Macintosh, this folder is called “Max 6 Preferences Folder”, and is in the Preferences folder inside the Library folder of your home directory. Your preferences are stored in a file called maxpreferences.maxpref."
I'm teaching a Max6 class where the students frequently use different lab computers. I'd like to show them the Max 6 Preferences Folder so they can migrate their prefs from machine to machine if necessary.

Does anybody know where the Preferences file is located on 10.7.2 ?
It is not in /Library/Application Support og /Library/Preferences...

In Mac OS 10.7, this folder is hidden. You can find it using the 'Go' Menu in the Finder. From there, choose 'Go To Folder...' and enter:
~/Library/Application Support/Cycling '74
