why is it so hard to copy BEAP examples?

I have been using Max for years but for some reason I am still having a hard time getting into BEAP. Why are the BEAP files so hard to find? I found them but it took way too long and was not efficient. Even then, I could only access the bpatcher of the patch. Why can't I just open the patch and alter a BEAP module? Why is it so involved? Maybe others like it but I just view it as a pain and it discourages me from wanting to use BEAP. Its a brilliant idea but I'm disliking the poor accessibility/customization of the idea. Please tell me I'm wrong and its easy, I want to get back to making music already!

Right click the beap bpatcher and select Object, and either of the two submenu items there. For the most part you can just paste them as embedded bpatchers (as in, self contained), so you don't have to go fishing for the "actual" files.
