You use 2 detectors at same time which confuse the switch.

use that to either open the gate, (if result is 1)

or to close the gate and send zero to the float

you need only 1 condition 
>= 2
use that to either open the gate, (if result is 1)
or to close the gate and send zero to the float
(if result is 0).
