Not sure if you really need GlovePIE - I believe it's no longer supported; have you tried either aka.wiiremote or tk.wii? Get your Wiimote data straight into Max.....

I'm working on a project using 5 wiimotes. I was using glovepie to send datas to Live but it was sometimes crashing so i stopped. Now i use tk.wii wich works on pc (aka.wiiremote is only for mac). you can find tk.wii in EAMIR SDK that you can download on eamir.org after creating an account.

EAMIR SDK for MAX is very interesting and provide many modules concerning wiimote and modal midi objects. Try it, if you have questions i could eventually help you.
