windows accelerometer/tilt input into max

Hello

I'm aware of a project called MAXTILT that takes data from a macbook pro accelerometer and pipes that into MAX, but is anyone aware of a way to get this data flowing from a PC to max (a surface pro 4 in this instance). I'd like to get tilt data into max anyway I can whether that be midi, osc or some other method. Any suggestions would be infinitely appreciated thank you!
