Winvdig registering paradox
I am having a horrible problem: winvdig which is free wants me to register. Here is the chain of events that got me into this horrible problem
I Downloaded and installed winvdig
I thought that vdig could be a better alternative so i uninstalled winvdig and Downloaded and installed vdig (abstract plane). Now it asked me to register to do anything so i uninstalled it.
I reinstalled winvdig but now it is a psuedo spawn of both programs the worst part being the register.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, removing all components, even shared ones. Is there a .dll or soemething in my system32 that i can get rid of? :(
thanks for any help/info
Oh Please someone have the answer to this! I'm dealing with the same thing exactly and I feel like it's an itch I can't scratch. Tried uninstalling both, reseting to an early restore point, uninstalling and reinstalling quicktime...and the damn thing is still popping up. No response from the company either.

there should be a big font message in the jit.qt.grab help file.
"under windows use jit.dx.grab, winvdig is dead"
i dont actually know why its included in the windows jitter distro

Ok, I sorted it. Go into:
C:PROGRAM FILESQUICKTIME
|
+---QTComponents
and delete: AbstractPlaneVDIG.qtx
that did the trick.
and I'll check out the jit.dx.grab, it's just that the tutorial has the other in it.
thanks!
