workflow question (wii based but i guess every solution would work)

hey guys, i have a question. i am starting to work on a wii project, well i have been working on it for few weeks now. one of the issue i have is the amount of information coming out of the wii. i am using osculator and the osculator max patch (provided with the application). one of the issue, even when the wii is sitting on my table, there is a large amount of information coming through (a bit like a drunk object). i am trying to get a clean reading of position, more like an incessant amount of number that are orbiting around a value.

anybody got any idea on how to find a solution for that problem?
