i figured Halloween would be the best time to ask this question, since the only way i can describe what i am trying to do is to "choke" a number. The idea is to significantly slow down the speed of the output (to the point where it seems like it's barely moving) in real time with the option of manually returning to "normal" speed.

My feeble attempt below which is not working, but i'm sure there is a simple way to do this but words and current patching brain (fried) are failing me. Trick or Treat?
