"floating" vst plugin window

Hi,
when opening a bpatcher in a separat window with "windows flags float" applied to the thispatcher object, it becomes the child of the calling patcher window and stays on top of it until its closed. Is there a way to archieve the same behaviour with a vst plugin window?
If there is no buildin solution like an existing command/message, is it possible to code a solution via scripting or an external?
Another solution i can think of, is hosting/rendering the vst plugin surface directly in a patcher window, so it would act basically like an max object with ui surface. Basically like the inline-view of vst~ would display the surface of the vst instead of max' parameter-view.
The solution should work on mac and windows platform.

in-patcher would be a nice feature, but it would still be a window, just like the bpatcher object or the ubumenu, and would probably introduce a bunch of new bugs.

as for floating, i seldom feel the need to have something floating all the time. if you cant see what is underneath you could as well make the other window smaller.

what about a keyboard command which opens all edit windows again as custom solution?
or the other way round: what about implementing a function in you main window which shrinks it to the upper 25 pixels? (so that all your plug-in windows are visible again?)

A keyboard command would make it easer to access the window. I keep this as an alternative solution in mind.
But I don't want to shrink the main patcher window. I only have that one separat vst window. And it should stay on top of the calling/main patcher window until its close.

bump.

Still no way to make the window of a VST staying on the top ?

Edit : in other words. Is it possible to have the VST windows opened with the open message to [vst~] behaves in Live like a VST opened normally, where clicking elsewhere keeps focus on the VST window ?

Here, with Live 11.3.20 and Max 8.6 (and the same with 8.5.7) on W10, even with a new live.set, if I just create a simple instrument device with only a vst~ object and messages (plug) and (open); If I click on "open" : the VST window just flashs and go behind Live...

Does it 's the same for everyone or it's just me ?

thank you
