"KeyMidi" extras - how to use ? (Noob question)

Hi folks

Can't understand, how to play through KeyMidi (virtual midi keyboard which built in Max) ?

For example, I tried select in "MIDI Output Device" list of KeyMidi "Delta AP MIDI" (which active in MIDI Setup as input and output), and run for example PGS-1 max synth, run audio, and select in PGS-1 midiin "Delta AP MIDI". Tried play to virtual keyboard but nothing occur. Also, tested this through "MIDI Tester" - the same, nothing.

(But for example, if i select in KeyMidi "Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth" i hear GM piano result. Also, i tried plug my hardware USB midi keyboard into max - works properly.)

So, how to activate MidiKey for max devices (or how it can be activated in MIDI Tester at least) ?

Hello!

Looks, like I have exactly the same issue. Here is what I see in KeyMIDI output device list:

And here is what I see, when double-clicking notein:

So, there is no 'to Max' ports in KeyMIDI. Why? Both of them are enabled in Max MIDI setup:

I was able to connect KeyMIDI by enabling IAC Driver Bus in system preferences, but the question remains: why there are no 'to Max' ports in KeyMIDI? Is this a bug (I'm using Max8/MacOS Mojave)?

OK. I was wrong trying to find MIDI inputs in umenu which lists MIDI outputs.
So, the easiest way to connect KeyMIDI output to the midiin/notein input is to set IAC Driver Bus output (make KeyMIDI to send MIDI to this output) and IAC Driver Bus input (make midiin/notein to receive MIDI from this input).
