How can I sort all the notes by start time, and retrieve them when the slider "crosses" their start point ?

I've made some progress, I now collect all notes and sort them by start times, but how would you scan the start times to see if there is a match ? 

You may convert the coll to use the start time as index (symbol). Multiple notes with the same start time would then be listed in the same entry and could be recognized as the number of elements per note is known.

That's totally the idea, but...how do I do that ?

I was trying to do quite the same thing so I found this topic, so I wanna to try your solution to avoid me to reinvent the wheel.. Unfortunatly, when I try to use the last patch you posted, an object is missing (IterNotes)

You can see the attached screen shot... I will be happy if you can post your solution
