this is probably simple, but I'm looking to trig a note using a [live.text] button. So when I press the button it's send a note on and the button off send the note off ... !!!

I looked at [sustain] & [stripenote] but didn't managed to find a solution.

One of them can be :

..also, I don't think it's a good idea to feed [sustain] with the outlet of [midiin], lot of another informations goes from midiin (CC, PC etc..) you may use [midiformat] or [notein]

Yes velocity 0 and note off are the same. And yes buddy ensures that pitch and velocity will be linked. Some people doesnt like Buddy. You can do quite the same with [trigger] and [pack].

I'll stay with buddy, it's always cool to discovered new object
