a suggestion... maybe out of topic

I’d like to share my opinion because I’ve been using Max for a while. The order of the computational flow is primarily from top to bottom (as suggested by the inlets and outlets) and also from right to left (as suggested by the trigger). A top-to-bottom graphical algorithm mimics the force of gravity with which water flows through pipes, but also the order in which we read text. Even when reading text, the vertical order (the page) is structurally more important than the horizontal order (the line). Beyond abstract considerations, I have used software with both primarily horizontal and vertical order with boxes, and I find the vertical one, and especially Max, vastly superior in its ability to make me organize the material and control its flow.
