Ableton Live MIDI Remote Scripts 10.0.2 Source Codes
And now,
all Live 10.0.2 MIDI Remote Scripts for your midi controller surfaces, python sources code uncompyled and revealed for you...
And also unofficial Live API documentation generated by the "API_MakeDoc" MIDI Remote Script:
https://julienbayle.studio/PythonLiveAPI_documentation/Live10.0.2.xml
enjoy + do great things, don't ask support to Ableton or C74 or me neither, with this.
Just ... enjoy.
I remember a very early conversation with Robert Henke with which I discussed about 'our' ability to reverse these python bytecode. He says to me : "yes. we know you can. do what you can but we won't support it"
Thanks :)
you're totally welcome
Big thanks here too! This has already come in handy with a patch I'm working on.
This is great. Is the API_makedoc script available anywhere? Link broken.
You can find an old version of API_makedoc in this archive:

I'm on Mac High Sierra 10.13.6, using Ableton 10.1.5. I'm noticing .py files not being compiled into .pyc files. Is it true that Ableton won't support custom Midi Remote Scripts or am I missing something? Thanks!
I recently noticed this with a custom User Action for ClyphX Pro - the code works fine, but there was no pyc file generated.
You can test

Actually, there is no support.
I was the first to release API in early 2011, if I remember correctly, and probably watched by the editor but I trust their open-mindness to let this happening again.
Mh, it seems like all of the mentioned links are down. Any chance to still get the resources?
you go to the link and download it.
nothing is down...

Some errors in very few decompylation. Sorry for this. No more time to fix them.
Awesome thanks. These are quite literally what got me into Ableton 10 years ago! :-)
