Adding personal patches to the object search

Hello fellas,

I am aware this is possible (My teacher showed me couple months ago) but cannot remember how, plus I've looked everywhere for the answer and I could not find it.

I am trying to achieve the following thing: I would like to add any patch I make to the object search (pressing "n") just like the Yellow Objects from externals. I know It's probably simple but I cannot figure it out.
