Disclaimer: my max skills are a bit rusty hence the somewhat simple question. 

I want to control pitch and amplitude using the function object. I seem to have a problem wit the amplitude: it gets distorted although I have limited the maximum amplitude. What am i doing wrong?

you have copied the right function object from the left one - and now its second outlet is in mode "list in curve format" instead of "list in line format" :)
