analog video input M1 Silicone Mac
Hello jitter fellows,
I am looking for a solution to get a live video input from an analog video source to my Mac (Silicone). The less the latency the better. My current solution is a canapus analog to dv converter with adapter cables which is working fine. But sadly dropped the firewire support in macOS Tahoe after 26 years ;-)
I have researched this SDI combination:
Blackmagic Design Mini Converter Analog-SDI
Blackmagic Design UltraStudio Recorder 3G
Perhaps someone has already tried this combination or found a better option and want to share the experience with me.
Thanks in advance.
I wish the best,
Pelo
Hey Pelo,
What about the UltraStudio HD Mini? It has analog and digital capture?
SDI Video Inputs
1 x 3Gb/s SD/HD switchable.
Analog Video Inputs
Y, B-Y, R-Y/NTSC/PAL.

Hello billyanok,
Thanks you very much for your answer.
You are right, the UltraStudio HD Mini seems to be a one device solution with more options. This is really great, but is double the price compare to the two device combination.
