Any advanced approaches to a more "analog" style distortion?

I probably should explained better in the image text. Basically, the pink waves represent the unaffected signal, and the black waves are illustrating different sorts of clipping. The first example shows how most distortion seems to work in Max, more or less. The second example is to illustrate how analog clipping I've seen can sometimes clip at more of a +/-10° angle rather than flat 0° clipping. The last example ("that other thing") is something I'd seen in an old tube rectifier amp where the wave almost looked like it was being blown in the wind. I don't know how to explain it other than that, but the amplifier had a gorgeous sound.
