automatic device selection when changing parameters on that device

I have mapped plenty of effect parameters to my midi controller. And there is a "device select" command which I can also assign. But it 'd be nice to see what I am doing whenever I change any parameter on any device.

I dont want to assign a whole single button on my controller just for selecting the device.

I can assign "device select" to any parameter change but only to a single one. So If I want to select the device I' always had to change that parameter only which is not so convenient.

Is it possible to do in Max for Live to automatically select (and jump to) the device on wich I changing the parameters?

And if yes, how?

Any ideas?
