Bluetooth Controllers

So i'm trying to connect my PS4 controller to Max 8 using the hi and umenu object. I have been following this tutorial and nothing is appearing in the umenu object. When I click on help for the hi object and press info, it says 0 devices in the console.

I am using DS4Windows as my driver and the controller works fine when i'm using it to play games.

In my patch i'm basically trying to make each button on the controller load in a different image into a jit.window.

I am in no means any expert in this software so any help would be appreciated.
