how would you make an arpeggiator that gives off one note if the boppad is struck but arpeggiates if it is held, i want the strikes to be just one clear note and the arps to be starting almost immediately if the pad is held

any pointers appreciated my max is super rusty and i cant seem to get my foot in the door with this one

I found a way, there may be simpler methods... it involves delaying the incoming note-on and setting a time threshold to determine if the note is a hit or a held note:
