I'm having trouble with [bpatcher] changing the color of the text when I load the external patch into another one. I wasn't able to change it even by setting the correct color in the original patch.

probably you have some ->style releated leftovers on the bpatcher patch?

bpatcher tends to change things in its motherpatch without beeing told to. we had that with [bgcolor] before.
