[bug?] jit.cellblock bug with Inline Edit mode

Ok, this is an insidious little bug that has taken some time to track down. Clear instructions to reproduce are in the patch.

Cycling folks, any thoughts? This can't be intended behavior, can it? Thanks.

Zachary

This reminds me to this old problem I regularly write about on this forum since more than 2 years now (without any usefull answer yet):

and finally:

(same behavior with Max5.1.7 under OS X.6.6)

Hi Patrick,

Yes, it's similar behavior to be sure, although my situation doesn't involve referencing a coll. Regardless, the behavior you demonstrate in that last post can't, I imagine, be considered a feature of the object ;)

I hope someone from Cycling does respond to this thread (still the weekend over on the West Coast though). This is kind of a serious issue in a long-term project I've been working on. Will need to rethink things quite a bit if Cycling doesn't fix it...

best,
Zachary

Hi everyone,

Can someone confirm the bug-like behavior as shown in the above patch?

Zachary

Anyone out there? ;)

Seriously, can someone _please_ take one minute and confirm the strange behavior I'm experiencing with jit.cellblock. I'll buy you an imaginary bourbon.

Sorry Zachary. It though my post implicitely confirmed your bug? report.

I confirm I have the same problem than you (Max5.1.7 under OS X.6.6).
