Please have a look at the patch below, save it and re-open it:
On my setup (Max 6.1.3 32 bit on MBPro OSX 10.6.8) when I open the patch, pwindows number one and three display only one color, while number two and four (the one with the delay, and the deferlow), show 7 random bars (as expected). Then, if double-click on the loadbangs, all jit.noise objects work as expected. Also if you copy the patch and click "New from clipboard" all works smoothly.
It seems like jit.noise's random engine needs some time to initialize (1 ms seems to be enough). Can this be addressed as a bug? (The workaround, however, is to simply put a small delay or [deferlow] right after the loadbang).
