Calling Functions on the Looper Device and devices in general
I would be grateful for anyone’s help or suggestions on how to understand this.
I want to call functions of the looper device (Record, overdub and play). I know this is possible as I tested it out using the LOM.navigator device.
I can’t find any tutorials or info online at all about how to address parameters on devices apart from the mixer device and I’m trying to get advice about where to look or the correct commands to use.
I have attached a couple of screen grabs of my attempt to do this - To see if I ma on the right lines- to no joy.
Im not a complete M4L novice and have built a couple of things that have been useful to me.

for calling the looper functions record/play/overdub (which are functions of the device, not parameters) i think you are on the right track, something like displayed in the attached screenshot works fine for me for example
for parameters you just need to navigate to the correct one (like you do in your example) and then set the value (without the "call" keyword, which is only for calling functions)
