Hi, total newb here. I am interested in developing an app that uses max score. But I am struggling to understand the overview here. I've downloaded the max score package but don't know what to do with it. I have some learning to do! But that's cool! I assume that I need Max itself, and then I will somehow be able to make use of the max score module?

My first issue though seems to be- I've downloaded Max 8, but when I try to put it into my app folder it refuses for some reason. I'm on macOS 11.2, intel mac. Sorry for the dumb questions. Thank you!

What's happening when you are trying to drag and drop Max in the Applications folder? Do you get some kind of error or just nothing? Does that happen only with Max? It seems very odd. Are you sure Max doesn't go to the Applications folder? You might have some weird sorting option that makes it appear somewhere you are not expecting it.

Went back and tried it again and lo and behold it worked. Thanks.
