I am working on a larger patch. It has multiple tabs, which are saved as .maxpat files (so not [p ...] patchers). If I change anything in these patches and save (either with the tab open or with the parent patch open - it does not matter), nothing actually gets saved.

Is this a bug? The way Max is behaving, there does not seem any way to save changed contents of a tab. I can save the patches by opening them via doubleclick from the parent patch and saving it there. However if I try to close the subpatch with cmd + W (which usually closes the currently open subpatch and is therefore ingrained in my muscle memory for that use), Max closes the 

 immediately (even though the sub-patch is in focus), without saving or prompting to save any changes in the other subpatches.
