Cant see any text in the info view window
Hi I Cant see any text in the Live info view window after entering my description at the info view text or the info view tittle fields in the inspector window of an UI Live objects - any Ideas what could be the reason? Thanks a head!
You can also write a reply to your own thread from 3 days ago to bump it to the front. Probably better than creating an exactly duplicated thread.
BTW i can't reproduce. Text is shown in the info view. Which UI object is causing the problem for you?
Ok, thanks for the bump tip..
It happens with every object that has the info view field in the inspector window.. take a look at the two screen shots if that's ok.
(Curser is upon numberbox but windows eliminate it from the print-screen..)

Yes I now reproduced it. That seems to happen when you exit the editor. But try deleting the device, then undo to bring it back and the info text should work again. But that's definitely a small bug there.

Does it show the info when you open fresh Live and insert your device?
It does but my text is not there..
You could build a small example device with the same error and share it here. Would be interessting if it's reproduceable on another system.
Ok, so this is a small example, just drop if you can this amxd file on a midi/audio track in Live - Can you see anything at the Live info view window in the down-left corner when mouse is upon 3 Live UI objects? And if not, please go in edit mode to check if text is in the info view text/info view tittle fields (inspector window of each object).

Ok.. thank you for doing it.. but what does it mean if I cant see it on my Live 10 ? what version you've got 11olson? or could it be something with my setting(Live or Max)?

Works here under Windows 10, Live 11, Max 8.2.1. I have no idea what could be the reason. Maybe send it to support. And join the Live 11 club if you can..
So could it be the reason ? No support for that function if it is not 11?
Please any one with Live 10 could make that small test?

Well, No. I don't see a text in any of M4L devices, not only in what I built,
I checked in Ableton MaxForLive Packs that they share - there is a description inside for some UI objects in their info view tex cc field but nothing outside!!
My immediate suspect is my 'old' version but I have to it hear from another Live10 user.
Any resolution to this? This has been an ongoing issue for me for a long time.
I wonder if it is an issue within bpatchers.

I had a similar issue when I was adding the info text while in presentation mode. When added in patching mode it showed the square in the upper right corner and it worked fine. (Max8-Ableton10. here)
